This international festival Grand Gourmet includes international competition of catering schools, waiters, bartenders, barista and both national and international competition of restaurants represented by teams made of waiters and chefs. As part of the event we also have education sessions and competition of hospitality schools’ students. Individual competition was designed as a presentation of waiters’ personality and quality. On the other hand, team competition presents joint efforts of chefs who are preparing dishes for four persons, and waiters who serve those same dishes.
Each day of the Grand Gourmet includes morning lectures, education sessions and trainings, and competitions and exhibitions are scheduled in the afternoon. Main goal of this project is to promote, educate and improve skills and knowledge of hospitality industry personnel.
