ŠKMER Academy, Split | 12 October 2026 – 1 March 2027
How is a perfect cake made, what is the secret of a smooth cream, how are modern decorations made, and why are good ingredients the key to a great dessert? The new cycle of Pastry@Home – Pastry School answers these questions over 12 Mondays in Split, from October 2026 to early March 2027.
Who the pastry school is for
The programme is open to everyone who loves desserts, whatever their experience. Over 60 hours of hands-on classes in a professional pastry kitchen, participants learn to make sponges, creams, cakes, petit fours, modern desserts and chocolate decorations, guided by pastry educator Ivana Bradarić.
What participants learn
During the three-month programme participants learn basic and advanced pastry techniques, get to know professional tools and moulds, and learn to choose, store and combine ingredients for the right texture and balanced flavours. The focus is on hands-on work, an individual approach and using what you learn in a home kitchen.
Every session ends with a tasting of the desserts made that day. Participants take home the recipes, the skills and professional tips they can use straight away, and the school is also a chance to meet other dessert lovers and swap experiences.
