The International Culinary Festival “Pearl of the Sea” is one of the most ambitious projects of ŠKMER.
The event is a culinary competition of professional chefs, pastry chefs, pizza masters and catering schools. In addition to the competition, it includes master classes, cooking shows, gastronomic exhibitions, workshops, presentations of foreign and local cuisine, round tables and an entertainment program.
So far, over 1000 chefs from 30 countries have participated and thus the Pearl of the Sea event has fulfilled its goal and become the largest culinary event in this part of the Mediterranean. The event is covered by domestic and foreign newspapers and television companies, and visited by several thousand people.
